My Role As Editor/Host of TASTE:
I expect that my role as editor and host of the TASTE web site will be similar to the editor role I've taken in several anthologies I've published (see Vita on my personal web site for references):
Determine the suitability of a submission for the Archives. I expect to be quite liberal on this unless a submission is clearly off topic or too poorly written.
Occasionally add explanatory notes if it helps make accounts more accessible.
Make occasional non-substantive changes to a submission if I think the submitter has not protected her or his anonymity sufficiently.
Verify that a submission actually comes from the scientist who purportedly submitted it.
Occasionally improve grammar if needed without affecting the substance of the account.
